
Earlier this week, clients and users were notified about a “major cyber attack” that happened to VideoShip.
Users were unable to log in, and when they did get logged in, found that all the video sources were not on their control pages.
This left many clients scrambling for alternative means of transporting live video.
Once users were able to log in, they found the following message across the top of the webpage.

April 2, 2025 5:55 AM The AXN system was hit by a major cyber attack early yesterday morning, and we are in the process of verifying the integrity of your station’s VOD servers. More

Clicking on the link for “more” would take users to a PDF download that contained the following statement

If you have iNet.Live or VideoShip servers in your Tech Core, and have a Cyber Security Team, I encourage you to engage them as to what steps you need to take to protect your company’s network and possibly assist with any investigation that may need to occur.
It is unclear if any government agency is involved with any investigation at this time.
