Please welcome SBE 85 Chapter Member, Major Robert (Bob) Scolli.

Bob graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BSEE. Bob begin his communications career with Automatic Electric out of Northlake, IL. He then went to work for Western Electric in Naperville, IL as a Number 2 Electronic Switching System Product Engineer. In 1973, he transferred to Oklahoma City Works as a NO 2 ESS Resident Equipment Engineer. In 1977, he transferred to SW Bell Telephone Company in Little Rock, Arkansas were he specialized in Private Branch Exchange, Data/Voice Communications as a Network Engineer. Concurrently Bob served in the National Guard for the 205 Engineering Installation Squadron Oklahoma City and then later at the 189th Civil Engineering Squadron in Little Rock AFB. Bob was activated for Desert Storm in 1991and retired in1994 as a Major. In 2002 he retired from SBC Corporate Staff as a subject matter expert on Trunk Integrated Records Systems. And if that was not enough, Bob is imbued in the IEEE world where he has been the IEEE Board of Directors 2006-2007; Director Regional Activities Board 2006-2007, Director IEEE-USA 2006-2007; RAB/TAB Section/Chapter/Support Rejuvenation Subcommittee Chair, 2004-2005, Careers and Services Committee Member 2006. Any more and we will have to have a link to his own web-site. We are so blessed to have him. Bob is also married to his beautiful wife, Mary Lou and has one son, David.

CHAPTER ELECTIONS

The votes are in and it was unanimous, well sort of. Our New Officers are the Old Officers. Apparently no one wants the gig. Therefore you are stuck again for another year of Leo, Bott and Chuckles. Honestly, we appreciate the support the Chapter has given us.

Please welcome SBE 85 Chapter Member, Jeffery Hitchcock.

Jeffery is a Master Control Operator for OETA-TV and has been with the company since Oct 2005. Before his work with OETA he spent several years in TV/Radio operations at a station in Woodward, Oklahoma. In his spare time he is a Disaster Action Team member with the Central Oklahoma American Red Cross and is a Tech Manager for Crossings Community Church Middle School Ministries.

Please welcome Steve Olinghouse to SBE 85!

Steve has been in the Professional Broadcasting world since 1991. Steve joined KOKH-25 (independent station at that time) as a Master Control Operator. Steve would later become the Master Control Supervisor for 7 years. Steve has been on the front line for the transition from both analog to digital and manual board operations to full automation. Steve has also authored many of the procedures that are used today. Steve is SBE Certified as a CTO (Certified Television Operator) and is currently a Senior Operator for both FOX-25 and the CW-34. Steve is also a national renown dog breeder of Long Hair Dachshunds. He and his wife Jan travel throughout the year to finish their dogs into champions and also competes for obedience titles. Steve is a Norman Oklahoma historian. Steve knows everything about Norman!

Please welcome Jay Perkey to SBE 85!

Jay Perkey is the Engineering Supervisor for KOMA/KMGL/KRXO/KOKC. Mr. Perkey is also the Program Coordinator for KOKC AM 1520.

Mr. Perkey retired from OPUBCO/WKY after 24 years of dedicated service. Jay is currently working with Renda Broadcasting and has been for the past 8 years.
